Apple’s WWDC Update – Day 1

Apple just had their opening of their World Wide Developers Conference with their usual keynote presentation. They did not introduce any new hardware!

Some of the stuff that showed was a new MacOS called Monterrey which didn’t actually seemed to change much by itself. The also introduced an new iPadOS which looked to be greatly improved with widgets now allowed on any page and in much different sizes. They are also going to allow for the same kind of App Library on the iPad which will eliminate the need for folders. I think apps will be better organized and easier to find.

There was a lot of talk about WatchOS and some of the new things that can be done with regards to health monitoring. I think it will be a good time to upgrade my Watch 4 to a new one this fall.
