I don’t really follow Women’s basketball all that much, but if they do something out of the ordinary, then I’ll make a post here. OU’s basketball teams, as of late, haven’t been ranked very highly and even now aren’t ranked very high even in the Big 12. Kansas, Baylor, Texas and Iowa State seem to get all the attention when it comes to baskball in the Big 12. Those teams are also ranked in the top 20.
This is the first significant win for new OU Coach Jennie Baranczyk who reached 200 career wins in the Sooners’ last victory over Eastern Michigan. She is in her 10th season as a head coach, coming to Oklahoma following a nine-year stint at Drake.
Kennady Tucker and Nevaeh Tot each scored 11 points for Oklahoma (9-1), which has only lost to then-No. 9 Oregon 98-93.
